Pumpkins and Fall Decorations
Autumn is the seasons’ grand finale for flavor and beauty.

Beautiful fall mums decorate along with bright pumpkins and heaps of winter squash. “Hardy” mums can survive temperatures to 28 degrees, but below that, they should be covered with a sheet or moved inside for the night.

From mid September to Halloween, we fill one of our greenhouses with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, great for carving and pies.

Flowering kales and cabbages are more cold tolerant and will actually deepen in color as the cold strengthens. They continue to look bright until snow covers them in December
