Group Tours

By appointment, Snell family Farm welcomes groups to tour our farm, especially school groups. The tours can focus on four different enterprises of the farm, depending on the time of year:

 

 

Maple Syrup:Learn about the history of maple process from tree to table. Sample raw sap, then the finished delicious maple syrup.

Greenhouse: Tour the greenhouses and see how technology helps us grow plants. Plant some seeds at the farm and watch them grow back at school.

 

 

Harvest Tours: Walk around the fields to see how various vegetables grow, sampling in the fields, if appropriate.

Apples: Tour the apple orchard, learning about how apples grow and about the challenges for apple growers. Learn the best ways to pick apples and enjoy the wonderful taste of fresh apples.
